It was cold here this morning, i was shaking like a leaf walking from the van to the test center to do my theory test. That could have been nerves tho lol.

It's nice and warm in Manchester at the moment, there's few inches of snow on the ground if I look out the window.

Scraping LOTS of ice off the windscreen this morning - had to 'crack' the doors open too!

Local weather site (owned and run my my gf's uncle as it happens), recoded a daily low for today at 3.55am of -8.1 here!

It looks like most of england will be hit pretty hard by this snow up until about midday tomorrow

Those relying on the snow turning to rain tommorrow, dont bet on it ;) It will just fizzle out most likely.

Mostly rain near the coasts though and Devon and Cornwall. They may get some snow on the front edge however.

Worst snow looks likely to be for eastern Wales and the midlands. No point risking how much as amounts will vary widely.

Btw, the snow is coming from the SW not the East, it's not one of the usual set ups ;)

Apart from Scotland which will have snow showers from the east :p

The mett-office site keeps crashing because it's so busy

7C down in Cornwall. Sigh, why is it that the best place in England for weather has no City to speak of. I'd be down there in a flash.

Plymouth? I know it's not Cornawall but it almost is. ;)

I will checkout Plymouth eventually but from the Pics I've seen I wasnt very impressed. Those 60's Commies seem to have got their hands over the place. :p

6C in Bournemouth which is just as good. :p

Why are we bothered, the rest of the world seems to cope with lower temperatures and more snow than we EVER get in this country, yet we get a whisper of half an inch and we are preparing for the end of the world?
I ask myself this every winter :)

The winter we have experienced in this country so far this year is very, very mild indeed. I have hardly had my heating on so far.
