Colin McRae is elite

I had no sound on so I cnanot relate to the commentary.

All I know is that he's definitely had some practice at that to be so cool about it.

Gotta love it though :D

Rally drivers are the best drivers.

They whine too much and have no balls.

"Stages are too long, we get tired."

"Can we get rid of night stages?"

"Can we make them all two-day events?"

Awesome.

In my experience rally drivers are all complete nut cases. Certifiable.

I remember watching the rallying on the TV a few years back during a forest stage in Wales. Some French dude (can't remember the name right now) came down from a jump a bit hard (at 120mph) which broke both bonnet pins.

The bonnet flew up and bent backwards over the roof of the car, smashing the windscreen.

Did he slow down? Nope.... carried right on going down the narrow twisty gravel 'road' between the trees at 100mph+. Just hunkered down a bit in his seat so he could see through the gap between the bottom of the windscreen and the bonnet.

Mentalists, the lot of 'em!

Wasn't it Marco Martin in the Focus.

Isnt Marco Martin from that country with the Flag that had a Blue white and black strip on it? Estonia i think it might be?

Im not sure if he has driven with a bonnet up.

I know Petter Solbergs younger brother kicked his windscreen out and drove it while it was snowing reasonably heavy :p

There are only 2 french guys left in the WRC so it depends hopw many years ago it was suposed to ahve happend.

The 2 french guys are Loeb and Sarrazin

My brother is also 100% sure it was Marco Martin.

Does he know what rally it was at?

One thing in this thread which is confusing me a bit.

Why is Mcrae Driving a Scoob? Shouldnt he be using a skoda since hes helping them make a car? Or has he stopped that now?
