Combating energy prices

How does that make a battery that will cover most of your daily consumption obsolete after 5 years. Why aren't all the teslas on the road consigned to the scrap heap many of those are 5 years old now.

Bit more progress today, although most of it was helping my old man up and down as his knees are shot, but got the rad pipework in now, will finish off the plasterboard tomorrow. Can see the taping around the edges of the celotex/batons to create the vapour barrier.

A lot of you miss one key thing here.

Even if you was to live in the dark and never use your gas or electricity at home, everything else outside will go up in price.

Your groceries , your delivery, your remote servers, your gym membership etc etc because guess what? All those places will also have to pay a lot of gas and electricity...

Ticking along at 2p per hour on usage from after 9pm.

Some blips throughout the night due to fridge needing a little more now and then.

This month I've used £41.

About time that legalised electric scooters instead of this backward nonsense. Would save a fortune in commute costs.

The trials round here seem to be raising some issues. Not so much the scooters but the idiots using them with pedestrians being injured and just general anti social behaviour.

I like the idea of them but they need a way of holding the users accountable. Like most things the actions of a few muppets ruin it for everyone else.

You get accidents all the time with pushbikes. My gut feeling is over reaction as usual.
you're a lot less visible on a scooter than someone on a bicycle.
also smaller wheels makes you more vulnerable to pot holes, stones in the road or any other crap

This, no different to bikes really. The products are fine, it’s the minority that’s point it for the rest.

Same applies to mopeds, motorbikes and cars. A <insert preferred word here> Is always going to act anti socially regardless of what transport they are using.

Was just saying what I'm using at the moment.
Ti's all.

Annoying thing, is pre Oct, I was on 13p per kwh... which meant 1p per hour lol.

I do like my smart meter, I go around turning everything off until I get the lowest number possible.

Got my son to shout the number to me aswell when I'm upstairs turning stuff off lol.

Managed to cut my bills by half vs not doing it...

What's a pain... is during the day, it goes up to 10p per hour... nothing else is really on.

Wish I could trend this data min by min, instead of having it sat in a smart meter.

Annoying about the 0% vat rate coming in! Could have saved myself a chunk of money if stuff like Celotex is included!
