Command and Conquer Generals 2 Thread

Woohooo Battlefield 3 in 3rd persion view mode !! :D

If this turns out to be a great game, I can see myself spending way more time on this game than BF3.

Loved the red alert with 'Tanya':p. Immersive and tactical/skillful game.:cool:
 
Seems to me that EA are hoping, that by using Bioware's name, the Command & Conquer brand will be revitalised. The last few iterations have been disappointing and lost consumer confidence. Is Bioware's reputation strong enough now though ?
 
Didn't even realise Generals 2 was even being considered, hope they do it justice as playing Generals 1 over a LAN with 8 of us was fantastic fun :).

Bit too early to release a trailer me thinks.

On a slightly more positive note... Very looking forward to this... Generals 1 was great fun :)

Couldn't agree more. C&C Generals was a good game, the last one I really got into. Since then they've all be pants and there really haven't been any good base building strategy games. Really hoping that this delivers, been waiting years for this kind of game to come round again. 2013...Argh!!!
 
Generals was also my fan CnC ever and RTS ever, I even enjoyed the insane money maps were you would start with 300k each online it was nuke tastic mentallness :D
 
Bioware Victory != Bioware.

Why not just call the studio Westwood Victory, at least it would've had some relevance to the franchise.
