I just hope they have done some sort of testing.

They normally seem to push their coders into getting things out on time, then let the public do the beta testing, while they begin making patches.

If Westwood didn't get bought by EA we probably would have been playing Tiberian Twilight years ago :p

As it's based on an optimised SAGE engine (LOTR:BFME2 and C&C Generals) i would say the specs for C&C3 will be a little bit over the specs for LOTR:BFME2 but not hugely higher.

Is this an actual confirmed by ea date or one of those fansite dates that more times than not proves to be nothing but bs and a sad attempt to boost hits on the site?

I remember one quakewars site was advertising the beta was coming a certain monday and it was 100% certain, then nothing. :rolleyes:

Confirmed by only a fansite as of yet. Though apparently if you are a Fileplanet subscriber you can see the date when you log in to the download page or something. It makes sense though because, as said above, 20th is the US release date of Supreme Commander Retail.

Well i just reserved it through fileplanet and it says on the downloader program:

Est date available Mon feb 26 2007.
