virgin..i lied its 46 KBps but thats still shockingly slow considering i should be downloading 10 times that and i cant find the damn demo on ea link either to see if that would make any difference...do i have to set my region to US to get it to show up?

No dont mean that.

More of a homeworld type interface where most things are marked with words indicating what the thing you click on is.
 
Ah right, well it does on roll-over (hold mouse over the interface icon/ Structure/ Unit) :) wich I personally like better but it might not be to your taste :(
 
I like it, but it does feel as if it is missing something I just can't put my finger on it.

Looking forward to more campaign and of course multiplayer!
 
1 Word......WOW . Fantastic Demo! Was not dissapointed. Great C&C Basic gameplay - nothing like Generals rubbish. Graphics are brilliant - Highest Quality Everything on and runs smooth as hell. Great intro, scenes. I have a little problem with the voice audio as it seems a bit quiet - probably problem on my end.

I didnt like the auto-focus on new objectives and i think the units seem too powerful? Apart from that - Fantastic Job!

It always annoyed me how space based ION beam death rays were so lame.
In Tiberian Sun it sucked, as did the ION cannon in Generals.
Sounds like we have a propwer death ray on our hands here.. :)
 
so far: I do like it, but a few things are a bit iffy. NOD's microwave style tanks, I don't know their real name, but they seem to out range all of my base defences and destroy them very quickly,

and also their stealth units (crazy ivan like ones) keep appearing in my base and blowing up my refinery.

The rebuilding turrents are a little annoying too, have to destroy the central node thing.

As a whole it looks and runs very nicely and is fast paced. I think the more i play it (and learn how to defend against those tanks) the more i'll like it. Ive been playing SupCom the past week so kinda gotten use to that
 
As an avid C&C fan, who has liked EVERY C&C game so far, I played this demo with high hopes...


Well I was not dissapointed! It's very good, typical C&C interface took seconds to get used to.

Hopefully in the settings will be able to use key commands like 'q' to place a building when ready, instead of clicking the sidebar.

The mouse controls are slightly difficult to get used to, Im used to using the left mouse button more for units...

Other than that, smooth, fast, and great! :)
 
Never really been of a fan of RTS games but thought I would give this one a go tonight and I must say I havent been disappointed.

The game runs smooth as anything on max settings on my x1900xtx at 1680x1050 and the general play isnt boring.

Will defiantly be buying when it is released.
 
34mins left :D.....looks like im gonn have to play it tomoz night :( gotta be up in 6.5hrs ....DAMN YOU WORK! hehe

if its anywhere as good as generals....im gonna be buying it

Typical that I have to work Monday evenings! :rolleyes:

175kb/s from multiplay, using DAP (otherwise I was getting ~25kb/s).

Can't wait to play this. :D
