Command & Conquer: The First Decade

Lol Kreeeee I grew up with them - I'm fully aware with how the games are meant to be played etc - but as above, with a 17" TFT I'm not sure how the low resolutions will be handled. Its nothing to do with snobby graphics... ;)

Perhaps playing them in windowed mode (if possible) would solve the problem of low resolutions. Can't you set windowed mode under Compatibility settings?

Excellent price for what your getting in the pack.
Ive got Generals, but not Zero hour, ive got RA1+Addons & RA2+Yuri. But i think its still worth the price they are asking.

How would Generals run on a P-M 2.0/1Gb/X600 128Mb?

Gonna wait and see how reviews look after release, but I really wanna try it. Although I've also still got to get through Balders gate II at some point!! TO much to do - not enuff time!

I am very tempted by this i have to say :D
I already have C&C, Tib sun/firestorm (although can't find them atm) and both Generals ones ... so about half whats in this DVD set - i guess that makes it worth having !!

This pack does look pretty sweet as I've not got most of them but have played many before, im a little worried about having to use low res and the rubbish multiplayer protocols, i hate IPX why oh why did RA2 use it!? :(

Likewise. I'm waiting for the next batch of 360 games to arrive in March so I've got some time to kill, might as well do it by playing good old C&C. Going to wait for the reviews firstly though.

i have had mine despatched too :)

ive been a good newbie and read the rules, apparently you cant mention competitors and game shops (even though ocuk dont sell games)?

Yuris Revenge is possibly one of the greatest games ever made.

The original C&C still brings so many good memories, I grew up with those games! I remember bringing my PC round mates houses when I was about 14! Just to play C&C networked!

I have never played an RTS better than C&C, I cannot stand WC3 or the other RTS's out there, even Act Of War was nothing on C&C.

I've bought the C&C Collection which has most of those games already, but i'll be buying this one too :)

PS> I still got the original big box C&C 1 + Red alert! :)

i have fond memories of loading up the first C and C on my 486dx/33 and the music and everything kicking in on the first map!

cant wait to relive that! u can look past the crap graphics!

You can as long as they don't sell the same prodects as OcUK. Game and Gameplay for example are fine.

Played StarCraft competitively? I used to have the same opinion until trash like RA2 and ZH was released and I started playing StarCraft online and in tournaments.

I played Starcraft once, then never again.

I hate Space combat and all sorts of things like that, just like WC3, I can't stand all this magic and stuff, was all too confusing, I prefer tanks and planes, not broomsticks and magic wands :D
I *almost* liked Warhammer40k but then even that I never got used to the different races etc.

I don't focus on the era, setting etc. That's pointless. Balance, pace and competition is what I like.

im bunging this on my laptop so i can play all these games when im on the road (obviously not the same time as when im driving :p)

does anyone know if it will support x64?

I believe it does. All the individual titles certainly run OK on x64. I have just been playing C&C Gold on x64 with no problems.
