Community ! Can't believe there isn't a thread.

Don't forget that the monkey living in the air vents is Annie's Boobs from the Chicken Fingers ep that Abed released. Love the continuity.

Re-watching the show last night, the D&D episode is hilarious.

The biggest problem with Season 3 will be all us people who caught up in the last couple of weeks having only a single 20min episode a week!

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'll do without a fix straight after the first episode. It was great to just watch an entire season one ep straight after the next.

I watched all episodes pretty much back to back last month. Yes its good and I actually did LOL at some points. The writing and timing is the best thing about it, and the punchlines aren't predictable. It can get cheesy/corny at times though and chevvy chase is very annoying towards the end of Season 2.

I don't see the point of Britta, at first I thought shed be in it a lot and be part of the major story lines but instead its mostly Abed (who is AWESOME!) First season was much better than the second, but you know what happens.. bigger budgets = lazy writing. Im not as excited about Season 3 and don't expect it to be anywhere near as good as Season 1 but I hope I'm wrong

Modern Family is easily passing the time but I'm 1/4 through s2 now and I fear I will finish it before s3 of Community starts, noes!

I don't see the hype for Modern Family. It's deemed to be "one of the funniest shows on TV" but I did'nt laugh anywhere near as much as watching Community. Yes the two shows have sightly different comical approaches but the MF leans heavily on being a DRAMA comedy than a sitcom. Communtiy doenst take itselft so seriously as seen is some of the zany episodes, I wont mention what it is exactly but those who have seen it think Wallace and Grommit

Modern family goes through the trials of well...most modern families so if you've spent time around family for most of your young and young adult life there's a heck of a lot that almost everyone can relate to and laugh with.

That and the absolutely hilarious lines some of them come out with constantly.

The format of Modern Family is in the same style as shows like The Office which works great, they're less drama focused but more mockementary-ish focused. It's a great gig and is loved by many.

I don't know that I agree with you, yeah s1 was a bit fresher, sillier, more ridiculous, cause it was all new and exciting, and s2 starts to get a bit more soap opera-ish as they start to explore each character in depth, but I kinda like that: it gets a lot darker, and that makes the jokes much punchier when we get them. I mean Pierce was basically just a clown in the first season, whereas in the second, whereas in the second his clownishness has a darker side to it, and it makes all the jokes a bit edgier. I mean if his D&D moment had come in s1 it wouldn't have been nowhere near as funny, simply because we would've all said "what a clown!" instead of "what an *******!"

Absolutely love this and Episode 1 of Season 3 doesn't disappoint, I wont say anything, so no spoilers, but the opening was awesome, I could watch it over and over!

Jumped on the bandwagon, and all the happier for it. I did watch the first episode several months ago on tv and enjoyed it a bit, but didn't feel it to be unmissable. I've now realised that it takes a couple of episodes to build up, culminating in the paintball episode - superb!

Just completed 1 and moving on to 2.
