Commuting - How much time do you spend?

20 mins there 20 mins back. Cycling to uni.

Though I don't trust this old bike in the snow so busing at the moment. Travel time varies greatly

10 min walk to train station, 18min train journey then 15min walk to work. The trains come every 10mins so no more than 10min wait at the station

So, 38 mins to a max of 48 mins

10mins if the motorway is quiet. but I tend to take the back road way so I can predict my arrival time more accurately, takes about 18-20mins.

Where did you decide on then cymatty?

I elected to live in sheffield in the end, I was won over by the cheaper property and being able to live so close to work. I wont tell the whole world where I am living as that would be dumb ha, but its not on kelham island but is quite close to the Devonshire qtr.

My commute to Uni is around 35min each way but only 3 days a week at the moment. For work its only about 10min again 3 days a week

About 30 mins each way. 1 hour a day - 5 days a week, 48wk's a year.

Therefore I lose......... 240 hours, or 10 days!

About 30 - 40min each way on the tube and DLR

Although I've been running in as well and have been making it in 37 min on a good day, feels good to be as fast as public transport

1 1/2 hours each way on two buses. I need to move or learn to drive.
