Love CoH always been installed on my pc ever since release...it was also like a £1 on steam sale a few days ago. Coh is a lot more forgiving then men of war but mow is a lot more realistic.

Sound like they are trying to ring as much cash out of fans of this series as possible to save themselves from going under.

my pre-order was only 27.99 from amazon. Though day 1 dlc is a pain this is one of the very few games i get excited about plus i would not want thq to go under which would almost certainly result in EA buying them up.

will never ever pay £40 for a game unless its Rome 2 total war special edition. This doesn't bode well, with THQ going bust they would be pushing the devs to get it out quickly as possible

how many of us actually play the game in the zoomed in mode?

Im sure it makes for better preview vids but for me id prefer to see the game as i intend to play it, i.e maxed out and max camera distance

Also one of my biggest gripes with the original game was that the UI elements took up like 1/3 of your screeen estate so id like to see the UI and if it has any transparency or scaling options

I'd agree with most of that, in fact, I'd argue that the camera didn't zoom out far enough to give you a better strategic view, but you just got used to it. I think there was a mod that fixed it though.

I virtually never zoom in small scale to my units, there was never much point.
