Now it's over I thought I'd add context to this as it actually happened. Old revolving doors have a safety mechanism in case of fire, if you depress a bar on the doors they will unlock from the main spindle and then lock in the 3 o clock position, all the doors on the spindle will lock in this position effectively leaving the revolving door with an open passage on the left side. I of course didn't know this until I tried to spin one full force and depressed the emergency handle in the process resulting in it spinning full speed them stopping dead as all the doors clattered into each over with an almighty noiseI'm overpowered because I once managed to slam a revolving door.
