Computer game music

Pretty much anything by Rob Hubbard from the old C64 days.

Jeremy Soule is fantastic, I especially like his work on the Sorrow's Furnace areas in Guild Wars.

Add Ocarina OT and FF in there as well.

Hmmz, got to say double dragon, streetfighter (ken and ryu stages), outrun (magical sound shower). Doom E1 all levels.

Test drive 1 coming through the PC speaker brings back a few good memories too !

Quite sad really. I've bought the Oblivion soundtrack from DirectSong and listen to it regularly in the background. Also installed the NWN2 music from the special edition and recently resurrected my Icewind Dale and Planescape mp3's!

Oh, and my ringtone is 'Monty on the Run'.... ;)

Turrican2 on Amiga

Wow, thats just brought back a flood of memories, I used to love the Turrican games, and the music was fantastic on it. The Amiga was great for music, I remember I used to get all these demo disks with great music usually set to strange 3d graphics.

As for PC games, I think my favourite is the title screen music on Little Big Adventure, it was one of the first ever games I bought on CD. I just used to load it up and sit there listening to the music, sometimes for hours. A bit strange really

Bubble Bobble (perhaps the most addictive tune that gets in your head and you hum all day)
Turrican 2
Xenon 2
Shadow Of The Beast Series
