Conan Exiles

Went looking for some reviews, but it seems the most important information about this game is how you can make your willy big or small and how they've put stacks of realistic physics all into how your sack jiggles about....

Apparently there's breast augmentation too, but it's all about Big Dong, Little Dong, Cardboard Box?

It is better performing than ARK, but at the same time the world is pretty bare at the moment. I'm only sitting around 40fps on high preset, but that it is 1440p. Drops to 30fps in heavy wooded areas :( Early Access is Early Access, I'm enjoying it though, it's nice and relaxing.

See that is my thought, when Ark got released it had me able to get 30-40fps at 1440p with settings at high, over time as they added more it dropped to around 20fps so I don't really see this being any different.

Even some of the assets look the same like they have been taken from the user mods for Ark and re-worked for this or straight off the UE4 asset page.

500hrs from Rust and around the same for Ark makes Early access some of the best value gaming for myself.

However holding off on Conan atm, seems to be quite a few problems consistent with the release of both Ark and Rust which tbh should have been sorted out before early access started.

Hope this game is well supported thought, will be buying if the Dev shows the will to sort issues out quickly.

They have a large team of dev's working on it.

They've put content on hold to sort out basic game play. They very quickly fixed the rubber banding, in fact within 12 hours of release.

FYI... Funcom have a track record of legitimately fixing issues and lack of content within 6 months. considering they've only been working on this 11 months .... Game should be amazing in 6 months time. Which is why is prob best for people to wait until at least Spring when it goes to Xbox, meaning it should be stable.
 
so much fun tonight with the TFU guys, 8 - 10 of us just raiding base after base haha....struck jackpot as well, massive base with so much loot, decent high level thralls. Was epic :)

well, at the moment it's crazy easy. Walls and doors only take about 10 seconds of beating with an iron tool, then you just need to destroy the benches or whatever inside which then reveals a loot bag on the floor.

You defend your base with thralls, the higher the level obviously the better. Think of it as having a huge dino pen with the best dinos around your perimeter :) although 1v1 fight against a thrall doesn't seem to be that hard at the moment, not sure if it's because we are proper equipped.

It is fun tearing up the server bossing things lol....it is PvP after all :)

Sounds good. Me and the wife are playing on our own server just mucking about and really enjoying the game :D

Just bought this, everyone in my clan is bumming it hard, they said it's buggy as hell but a lot of fun. Bonus is the wife goes on holiday for 11 days tomorrow so mucho time to get into it :D
 
Not an official clan, just a few of the guys from the old WarZ days and some other stragglers we've picked up along the way from the likes of Breaking Point, Exile and other survivally type games.

Around 60'ish people in our private gaming facebook group and typically between 4-8 people on our TS each night depending on work and whats out.

Had a 2 hour stint exploring the far North West last night, it's very interesting for sure...definitely wanna relocate up there with the boyz asap.
