Condemned - Do I unwrap it?

I find with this I don't play it for ages, then come back toit for a couple of hours. It's not a game I can play for too long as I get wound up by it ! :)

You still selling those pants Zico, getting low here. :D

Thers many a time ive just been wandering about exploring minding my own business, then all of a sudden ive been walloped from behind, narf makes you jump that does. :p

Yeah still got them on sale :)

I had a go round my mate's house today, to show it off to them.

I was doing the Library stage and forgot about the ground crawler types that pop out of the bookshelves. Even in the daylight with other people there it still made me jump :D

Yeah i hated them buggers, i was jumping all over the place, especially the bit where you fall through the floor and have to make your way back, the buggers are popping out form everywhere, i was shrieking like a big girl. :D

The problem for me with this game is that there isn't a great deal of replayability. The game is damn good the first time though :D.

I guess I'll just get all the Xbox Points and trade it in.

I brought Condemned with my 360 and have to say it's not all that scarey and the gameplay is repetitive. I thought Res Evil and Silent Hill had more of a scare factor than this. I've even played it in the dark in 5.1 and nothing has made me jump yet.

You're obviously very hard then ;)
To test this theory - did you cry when you watched the Green Mile?

I seem to be able to immerse myself in games and films, perhaps it is an imagination thing. Perhaps you've overdosed on games and are unable to really get into them anymore.

By way of example: I used to play EQ an awful lot. At first it was an immersive and incredible game experience. After a year or so the mechanics started to show through, it became repetitive. A real shame.

Gona have to get back into this, aint played it for about 3 days, have to start the Apple Orchard again as for some reason i wasn't collecting the clues, even though i knew i had to, and when i was finding them the collection tool was coming up, but i was looking just wandering off, was just later on in the level that it struck me, and i was "what the hell am i doing, im supposed to be getting the clues" lol, and i think there was a clue in the roof where that nunchuck guy was  , but you can't get back up there as the door is now closed, and when i got out of there i had to drop through a hole in the floor. :(

I still don't know why i wasn't getting the clues even though i knew i had to, i was seeing them, and the collection tool was coming up as said, i was saying right theres one of me clues to collect, but i didn't bother, i just wandered off, must have been in my own little world that day lol. :D

Well ive finally found the last clue, very sneaky ;) , wasn't in the roof afterall. :D

Now it says i need a fire-axe to move the piano so i can get back upstairs again, but where do i get that from, ive been all over the place, or do you have to just keep fending of those hobos that keep coming in, as one of them will have it on them. ?

Thanks. :)

I'm on the department store level (5)...

it's just got a whole lot creepier, i was shiverin, had to turn the bloody thing off lo0ol. Jumped 3 times so far on this level, its like nothing happens, you know somethins gonna jump out but not sure when...sound effects are curdlin, i've played all the supposed scary games like doom3 and silent hill etc., nothing comes even close to this.

I think its the sound more than anything, really class game.

That is one seriously messed up level.

Second time round when I was replaying the game for the metal/bird achievements I spotted a zombie lady staring at me from a banister several feet away from me. I just turned around and she was there just stood still staring at me, it scared the hell out of me. Later towards the end when I was on the ground floor, I just glanced up for no reason and saw her again walking away....freaked me silly!

That bit towards the end when your in the basement of the house follwoing that trail with one of your forensic tools.

Pitch dark, walking towards a mirror, your concentrating on the trail and you catch a glipse of something crawling on the ground behind you in the mirror.....

Finally completed it today. Only got 33 out of the 50 achievements so I'm going to play through it again.
