I've been handed the official 8.1 RTM and have a legit 8 Pro, any issues with just installing and selecting 'keep all files and settings' and using my key?

I've got Win8.1 Pro RTM en-gb iso but I can't make up my mind to put it on or wait till October 17th
I missed the 25 quid deal hey did last time round is there likely to be another version for 8.1?

I'm trying out latest AVG 2014 Internet Security on Win8.1 Pro RTM,no issues so far, seems to use less resources then the old AVG 2013,still snappy in general use so no slow downs that I can see even in gaming.
Glad I did a clean install of Win8.1 Pro RTM,only took 10 to 15 mins.
anyone heard of MS backlisting windows 8 key due to activating them on 8.1 before release? or they ignoring it?
I've just got a W8 laptop, can someone tell me the point of the colourful blocks bit? It seems to contain cut down, rubbish versions of things I can access easily in 'desktop' mode.
What do people do with it? Do they just stick all of their favourite programs in there like a kind of quick launch screen?
for me the start screen lets me better organise my programs and easier to open programs due to title format, also have live titles for weather / mail etc so no need to open a email client or site to check if I have mail. some of the metro apps feel better than the desktop version of the program.Yeah I guess that's the case, I just can't see a use for the metro bit, what does it do better?
