Conspiracy Theories....

Ringo was a really good drummer.

Not one of the Beatles were highly proficient instrumentalists however the songs they produced, the lyrics they wrote, the avant garde techniques, were amazing as a whole and all the band contributed to that. So I disagree if you think the above is conspiracy or fake in any way.

They had a bloody good ear for a tune those boys. Thats what made them so good. They wrote good songs. A good song is not a tricky song. I would go as far as to say that many of the greatest songs ever are very simple.

Here you go, knock yer sen out.
Most of that is nonsense but why is Lucid Dreaming in there? That’s 100% real. Not many but others are real as well. Or am I misunderstanding and its on there as so few people know about it and it appears crazy even though its real? Freemasons as well they are very real.

The Matrix.

Not something that sits well with a lot of people, but eventually our level of science and technology will/would facilitate fully immersive simulations, if it is possible to do then the chances are it has happened before, which extrapolates to it being immeasurably more likely we are in a simulation than not.

The one and only conspiracy theory that i have heard and thought it could very well be true is that JFK was accidentally hit by a round fired into the road by one of his secret servicemen - from the car in front, reacting to the missed shots from LHO.

It explains very simply a lot of the inconsistancies and plain cover ups around the death.

It was actually from behind the Presidents car.
When the first shot was fired one of the Secret Servicemen picked up the rifle and it accidentally went off which explained the magic bullet.
It is actually a good one and there was a cracking documentary on it.

I tend to agree but id say the drummer is the one role where you can kick someone like Ringo out, replace him with a genuine drumming god like Buddy Rich and have the Beatles slap about 10 x harder.

I imagine Buddy would have got rather bored with the simplicity of the Beatles music though :D

When Ringo got behind the drums the first time with The Beatles and started playing the other three were gobsmacked.
Professional drummers all over the world voted him the 4th best drummer in the World, anybody who is a proper drummer knows how good Ringo was.

Conspiracy theory: drummers know what they're talking about and can be absolutely trusted to make good decisions.

I haven't said he's a poor drummer, he's a legendary drummer in terms of his legacy/influence but in terms of technical ability, he's not on the level of top-tier jazz drummers or even numerous drummers in other genres.

Music is about more than technical ability though, a great drummer doesn't have to be a technical god. I just personally never cared that much for Ringos drumming, would never try and downplay his legacy though.

So are we debating if Ringo made a difficult drum part to play?
Surely the answer is no.
But again, thats nothing in comparison to his legacy as drummer of the beatles etc etc.
Could say the same thing about Nickleback....

Lunchtime Spotify playlist of 'Party Hard' on repeat activated.

e: not a conspiracy theory. When it's time to party, we will always party hard.
"We want fun! So you better believe it"
I love it when youtube music throws a Andrew W K song in, beautiful!
