US: Continuum

I enjoyed it overall. Could have been better, but could have been a lot worse considering they had 6 episodes to wrap up.

I found the first season was very good, then it started going a bit downhill and had it's up's and downs. The fact that it is a sci-fi show and had eye candy kept me going through the lows though :D

Was funny to see what happened to Kellogs cornflakes at the end though. Lol

I watched all 6 episodes, back to back.
This season was fast paced (no filler), action packed - just the way I like it.
9/10 for this season.
Top stuff.

So, apart from The Flash and Agents of Shield, there are no other sci-fi shows which I can think of, on the telly right now.

Wow, that was wrapped up in a hurry, wasn't it! Still quite good, but a shame they didn't get 12 episodes to end it properly. At least they got to end it though I guess, better than cancelled at the end of a season on a cliff hanger.

I don't think it wrapped up too rushy rushy certainly not as bad as falling skies alien ripp off towards the end at least, it was the right ending imo for the show and they done well to conclude the entire series.

I've not seen Dark Matter (reviews have not been favourable) - once this season is done, I'll definitely watch it though (back to back episodes can't be beaten).

XFiles - lets face it, this is an old show, which had its time. By the time we reached the final 2 seasons, the show was not particularly great and I expect the new series to be worse. They did the same thing with Arrested Development - they created a new series and it was badly received.

I'd give dark matter about a 7, then give the last ship 5.0. (not watched all of season 2, it bored me) so not sure

X-files (not the film) {rebirth} will be awesome it has to be, anyway one word Gillian Anderson

That's the traveller. He was the one who brought Chen back to life and showed up a few times in strange places to kickstart plots in the third season (before they decided to all but write the freelancer angle out aside from keeping Chen around) under some vague claims that he's from the far, far future and was trying to return the timeline to how it should be. Then with season 4 being so rushed he really didn't do anything besides that bit where he lets present and future Alec talk and we ended up with some bs about one magic moment being able to fix everything and would allow the unicorns to once again roam free and make everything alright.

Or something like that.

I've watched all of them and I don't remember any of that. :) I must have not been paying attention at all, but frankly half of last series did make me lose attention easily.

He only actually appeared a half dozen times (and most of those were extremely limited) and mentioned in a few more episodes. I doubt I'd remember much of it myself if I hadn't rewatched Season 3 right before it came back on the air.

The Traveller had virtually no screen time in all the series. He was talked about a lot...but never really featured.

In the end, I think the writes abandoned his story arc, but included him in the finale (for about 30 seconds), just to add some closure, to his almost non-existent story arc.
