US: Continuum

I'm quite enjoying this season. Last season, not so much. Got overly complicated, but this one back to being a decent show I feel.

I am glad it's ending tbh, most episodes have just be a lot of waffle about nothing, there are so many high horses in this show it's hard to see the actors. Just want it to end.

Yes, it's only got 1 episode left. To have it to this point with only 1 ep is terrible, it clearly didn't get the budget to finish it.

Travis is a super soldier though, he has been specifically stated to have a bunch of enhancements from the outset and we even saw that he's a test subject from an abandoned super soldier project, but he's the only one. The future soldiers are all tech and training.

As for how rushed it is I'm not convinced it's a lack of budget that's been the problem, it's more a lack of direction. There's been no shortage of expensive set pieces, it just seems like the focus is on the wrong things (Julian deciding to embrace being Theseus and help with baby Kagami as a 10 minute subplot during an episode for instance). They really seemed to have no idea what to do with this new faction (Brad's guys) besides introducing some new threats so Kiera didn't end up fighting Travis and Garza every week and now with a reduced episode count they realised they have to use them but still have to deal with the remaining member of Liber8 and the Kellog/Alec stuff. Personally I would have liked to see them touch a lot more on the whole freelancers thing than introduce a new faction right at the end that apart from Brad and the other shady leader guy are just a mass of faceless goons.

Probably, but (assuming the show is going to keep some consistentcy in how it deals with such things) as evidenced by Kellog still being around after his grandmother was killed in season 1 it wouldn't do anything about the ones in the present

Well, it was cancelled end of the third season; so it wasn't as if it was just chopped short while the fourth was in production. The creators were given one more season of 6 episodes to come up with some sort of conclusion. They had to time to come up with a conclusion, but as expected, that was a tall order with just 6 episodes.

It was an OK ending, could have been better but about what i've come to expect from cancelled scifi shows that actually get a chance to tie things up.

I enjoyed the conclusion ..... my opinion was that it was the ending that was always intended but they had to condense everything leading up to the conclusion in the 6 episodes.
