It's the same sort of time as 10 episodes, but, might be more convenient. Or maybe that was just a product of being on Netflix, where they don't need to be 42 minutes to allow enough advert breaks in an hour slot.

True, six is better than nowt. At least they can fashion some kind of ending, even if it's a bit compromised.

Alas, so many TV shows that have some creative thought put into them get cut short due to poor ratings, but reality show nonsense goes on and on.
 
As long as they focus on the ending and make them 6 good episodes I'm fine with that. Making the time travel increasingly convoluted every time they needed a cliffhanger was just making things silly anyhow.
 
I really enjoyed this show and I'm glad we're at least getting some resolution, at least I hope we do. Ultimately I assume nothing changes in the end :P
 
I've just been power watching these and was looking forward to watching more! Typical :(

Ah well, at least 6 eps is better than nothing.
 
Nice it gets a proper finish I think the last season it got a bit confusing or perhaps I was just falling asleep. It kinda reminds me a bit of almost human series......

The reason why scifi shows may not be doing so well is people don't watch them in the way the ratings could poll along with all the other decent shows out there! if they including the method of how people are watching these shows it would add few million + !

Hopefully the changes to the neilson ratings will change things for the better, still not perfect though:

Now, desktop and laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, gaming consoles, and over-the-top boxes will be incorporated into Nielsen’s ratings—meaning Netflix NFLX , Hulu, CBS All Access CBS , HBO Go, and even YouTube GOOG 1.92% will be accurately incorporated into the dominant TV ratings system.

Personally, I think torrent downloads need to be considered.
When millions of people are downloading a show, you know its popular.
Studio bosses seem to close their eyes when it comes to illegal downloads.
Torrents are like a huge elephant in the room which nobody wants to acknowledge, is there.

yup torrents are delayed income from viewers until the boxset is released :D

Probably because channels don't make shows for your enjoyment, they make them sell advertising slots. Torrents don't make money. It boggles my mind why all tv station these days don't have a TVCatchup style website with ads.
 
This show did well for canadian ratings i think it was more the actors and actresses wanting to do other work and not being tired to another 3 seasons. Initially he wanted to do 7 seasons. Id rather they tied it up with 6 episodes with the original actors than have to swap out actors and change the story just to keep it going. Would have been nice to just have 1 last season though.
