Looks all right though but I think anyone serving that at a candle lit table will be getting some rather worried looks.

After the dissection you should have cooked it over a bunsen burner and offered it to the nicest looking girls. You'd definitely score!

Its a bit fiddely, but I made a sort of bacon-cone in the middle of mine and then stuffed that with stuffing. Gives it a bit more of a texture and the stuffing gets a more meaty taste.

10/10 to your cooking though! Heart is underrater and cheap 'cos people (thankfully) don't buy it and think its sick. More for me ^^

Looks nice, and very different . Can you wrap the hearts in anything... say, bacon?

You can wrap anything in bacon.

Just take a 1/4 inch or so off the top to remove the arteries and the venrtricles should all be open. Bear in mind they will shrink a little so some of the stuffing will ooze out.

No more creepy than serving chicken breasts or cows rump really

I missed this thread. I love lamb heart, it's so delicious. I converted so many of my university chums when I was a student

I normally stew it but my mum used to cook it like this, full of Paxo.

My Nan does this sometimes.. tastes lovely.. as long as you cut the ventricules out and all the nasty bits.. very good for you.. and it's quite cheap from the butcher.
