I think stories like this are actually true, only aliens brainwashed tens of thousands of people in to believing that it's their friend's memory, making others doubt the validity of it. They have done this to plant a seed of self doubt within humanity, which will ultimately lead the collapse of our civilisation.

Maybe some of these kind of stories aren't, but many are.

I heard this one as well, the couple lived in Essex and wanted to get married somewhere in Ireland I think.
