Coolermaster ATCS case pics

Looks like I confirmed back in 2015 that I still had my ATCS 201-SXK.

Happy to report that I still do, along with new stablemates.

Never managed to find a replacement for my 110, but the 111 is a close approximation just a bit smaller.

They all now house period-ish correct builds, Slot 1, Slot A, Socket 370 and Socket A (462).

OK most probably know but thought I would share.

I recently picked up an old CM Praetorian 732, pretty ugly one with the big curved slab door on the front.

Good news was that the chassis is basically identical to the ATCS 201's. The motherboard tray actually has two 80mm fans on these as well. The top panel is different, but if like me your old 201 interior is a bit worn or has been modified, these are a good donor for parts.

Yup this is a good shout! MESH did a similar OEM case based off these and I managed to find a pair and nicked the twin fan motherboard trays for my 201’s!

Yes the one I have is a mesh branded one. I will be using the motherboard tray for my build.

The old one that has already been cut about is going to get some serious work to it. I am determined to have an up to date version of this case. The only part that can't be touched is the front panel IMO.

@rare interested to know how you went about the polishing process, did you disassemble the chassis?

I have holes in the base of this black widow I want rid of, going to drill the rivets on swap the parts over, anything I should watch out for?

No I didn’t mate I did the whole thing by hand with the case still assembled, it took HOURS. Needless to say it was so massively difficult and time consuming that I only did the one.

I was too worried about damaging it to take it apart, be interested to see how you get on with it…

A friend is looking to rid himself of an old Lian Li v1000. This thread had similar retro cases so thought id post here. Message me if anyone wants it for free. Collected from Grantham

I had one of those aswell, the V1000 that is, that was a nice case. I have too many cases and not enough space now though myself.

This seems like the most likely place to poke for interest, but I've been having a clear out of my loft and found one of m old ATCS 200 cases that I would like to move on to a new home.
Would anyone here be interested do you think?

Lots of interest I would expect, is this the variant with the solid panels that are in a dark grey?

Yes they are plain dark grey, I'll sort some better pics out later.

I've only just re-activated my OCUK account and realised that I no longer have access to the members market so apologies for having to post it in here.

I have a 101 in the attic. I should dig it out and do something with it. Are they worth anything?

I still have my Coolermaster ATC 110 purchased January 2003! for £236.

Its currently home to my 11 year old Intel desktop PC nothing special.

Is the ATC 110 still compatible with todays mother boards and graphics cards ?

Thanks Ben

the 201-bx "black widow" is the most desirable, I think rare sold one recently maybe around £130-140.

the 101 you have there is unusual though - you may get £80-100 for it

very much so, cooling is tricky but there are still decent 80mm fans about and plenty of low tdp cpu's.

i'm running an atcs 201, with 5 modern 80mm fans installed and can do moderate gaming without issue (ryzen 5600x & rx6600xt)

HI All -

not much of a poster - and haven't been active online for PC builds for a long time & can't for the life of me think what my old account username was from early 2000's.

it was nice to find some historic chat about the ATCS cases as ive always liked these - had one of the early versions around 1999/ 2000? - maybe a 201 but thought it only had 3 5.25 bays - I could be wrong though .

Anyway I thought any coolermaster ATCS fans may like to see this fairly rare beast :-). just started cleaning it and stripped the 4x80 fans 2x120 and the rather interesting 300mm crossflow fan, also all removed for cleaning/replacing ..along with most other bits and bobs. was originally going to build my latest build in the limited release Alienware 7500 ALX case but have decided to go with this - my sons going to build up the Alienware after his purchased all the new parts and a new gpu..(2025)

If you are not familiar, this is the Coolermaster ATCS 310 from 2001 (server)

its fairly large compared to my old ATCS case.

592 mmX 363 mmX 558 mm
Case :12Kg

It was a great find all cover panels were immaculate and it is in the process of cleaning up rather nicely

Appreciate these old cases are not to everyone's tastes - but I still like them.

As previous people have said - some new modern fans and that cross flow fan (which is pretty impressive - ill photo that installed when ive finished cleaning...

Any way ill be slowly building her up and installing some updated kit - not the latest, mostly new from the outgoing models id expect. I recently did a warranty replacement on my 13900ks so will be putting the new 13900ks in this.

cheers

Thanks for the reply only just seen it.

Any recommendations for some new 80mm fans I could swap in. It's got 2 at the front, one on top and I've at the rear.

I've been thinking about building a 1440p gaming pc in my Cooler Master ATC 110.

It looks like there's space for up to 14 inch for a graphics card.

Was planning on a AM5 7600X and 4070 Super, would the ATC 110 case and cooling be up to the job ?

Thanks Ben
