Oh well look like no i9-9900K reviews today and this month and the next month too so it will be launch in October, possible on 5th October would marked exactly 1 year since 8700K launch.

Question. Assuming all above is true for a second. When will they actually "be on the shelves"? Im going to USA in Sep, Oct and Nov. be good if I could buy one then,.

I will wait for someone to take a screenshot of inventory inquiry of i9-9900K with launch date just like someone did last year with i7-8700K.

The 9900K is basically a golden sample 9700K.
The average 9700K couldn't hit low enough volts for 8/16, so hyperthreading gets disabled.

That's my take on it anyway.

I'm not sure. I think they will just have taken "60%" of the raw CPUs, disabled hypeerthreading and flog them as I7 9700K's. Thats a lot cheaper and easier than binning all the chips.

Stock availability will answer that question. Pricing and product designation suggests they don't want to sell many 9900Ks.
