Got my retail boxed 9900K yesterday. Temps are sat around 62-65 on full load with a kraken x62. Does anyone know if retail chips are better binned or if there's something off with my temps? Cheers guys.

Those temps are normal.

could someone let me know what idle temp is please using core temp, just trying to gauge temps with my 9900k as i'm not on conventional cooling at the mo and there will be an AIO going on it soon. guessing temps to be around 29c just sat on desktop????

thankyou, My bucket of water is @30c currently so i'll do my settings/oc at that then i should be good to go on aio.

After more playing last week:
5ghz all core, no avx offset. GPU RTX 2080ti shares loop.
Hottest core:
Destiny 2: 59 (average 45-55) 1440p
1hr OCCT large: 62
1hr Prime95 avx: 85 (Coolest 79, may try reseat?)
All rads of the thicker variety. 360x2 + 240.
