If you're going to go there at least pick something I'm wrong about. The Corsa VXR does handle very well as stated in the press and by people here who's used them on a track.
Oh, You're excused.
Handles well compared to what? The 182's handling is in a different league, hence why it beats it round the track.
So becuase the Clio has different league handling the Corsa can't have great handling![]()
Hence why I asked 'Compared to what?'
Based on the discussion it would be fair to assume you were comparing against the 182. Otherwise you could argue anything has great handling.....
This is getting silly. The Corsa has great handling, so does the Clio. Sure the Clio is better in some respects but it sounds like you want me to say the Corsa has terrible handling compared to the Clio? Which is doesn't.
I agree, its a silly argument. Lets agree to disagree
but you also said.....![]()
14k on a corsa??? FPMSL!
Evo 8-9, R33 GTR running mega power? MASSIVE FAIL...

Why would you melt the pistons in a Corsa VXR?
What a silly comment![]()
This thread is crap. Ohh dear, someone we don't know has bought a Corsa VXR.
At least it will hold it's value better than a fully specced Corsa 1.2.

Seconded
Somebody on here spent roughly similar money buying a brand new clio.
He was heaped with praise. The Corsa VXR is a very similar car. They have their differences, the corsa is marginally faster, the clio is a better handling car, but fundamentally they are both good 3 door hot hatches.
But why does one person get slated and the other not ? ah yes thats right because its got a vauxhall badge
Dont get me wrong, im not in the camp that thinks the Corsa VXR is the most amazing hot hatch ever, but its still a good car. And 14k is the ammount you have to pay to buy a new hot hatch. Whats the issue ?
