I reckon this will be my next case, unless someone releases something amazing between now and August.

I have 3 SSDs and only one HDD so I'll probably hide it behind the mobo or make a plate to go in the bottom and use a Scythe Himuro.

Looks like a great bit of kit for the money. Still going to wait for TTL's review and modding guide though.

the august date is quite loose. we are expecting them soon. they have told me 12th august or around that time.

this is an estimate.

Is it more likely in your experience to be sooner or later? I have pre-ordered and have started reading up on, looking at benchmarks for the shiny's I will be putting inside. Not built a new system since the conroe days since my quad core does everything it needed to do.

Well that's a bit of a shame, looks like the usb sockets and switches are all one solid bit, which is going to make modding that a little harder.. hmm.. more thought required..

Can the badge/power button be oriented the other way so that the case can be like this?

Looks like a 40's radio. :p

One issue I can see is that the PSU intake is on the side that would be the bottom if you rotated it like that. You'd need to prop it up on something to allow the air to get in (unless you have a PSU that intakes from the 'front' where the cables are).

Also I think the optical drive bays would then be upside-down. Just the impression I get, not sure if that would make a difference.

Now that these are turning up with customers in the US and Canada, have they shipped to the UK yet? What I mean is are they on route via the high seas?

I saw some posts on another forum about this, for the ones people got weeks ago a guy from corsair said that they flew some over to the US and a few to EU and the rest were on a boat on the way :p so thats how some people got there cases already. also i think those people all purchased direct from corsair.

from the other forum and here, i dont expect to get my case pre mid august

Thanks for this info. Good to know.

Not sure if this is agaisnt any OCUK rules, will remove it if it is.

an Owners club on another forum, a lot of good information listed in this, such as dimensions of the PSU fan port, and the open bottom in the main compartment of the case. for those who want to sort dust filters for them.
also lots of internal dimensions for clearance for rads etc
