I think the case looks great but the window is utterly vile. I'm not 12 and I don't want my computer looking like a prostitutes window box. I'd be very interested in a solid side panel.

Hopefully the other side may be interchangeable and available as a spare part?

Eeveryone has their opinion. I wouldn't buy this case if it didn't have the window. The window will look bad ass with my system set up. You can't please everyone? Too each there own I guess

Which is why I asked about the non-windowed side panel. You then questioned why I would want it as apparently you thought we should all share your opinion.

I've yet to see a PC setup so good that it would make me want to look at the window in my PC rather than what I'm doing on the monitor.

Like I said too each their own. Others don't share your opinion.

You didn't think this earlier, you stated that 50% of the appeal of the case was the window.

I wasn't asking if Corsair could change every case to not have a window. I just wondered if there might be the option for those of us with a different opinion. Which is when you stated your 'fact'.

Does anyone know if you'll be able to get non-windowed side panels for this case?

I just tried swapping the sides over and they are swappable...
The only questionable point is that the solid panel has holes for the PSU cooling which then go over the CPU area.

So you can order a spare plain side or maybe swap the window side with someone for their solid one... i'm sure someone would like windows on both sides.

Hope this helps

If one windowed panel was 50% of the appeal, imagine what 2 would be like! :D

The problem of course would be that then there's no hole for the PSU to intake air through, but guess that's modable.

To be honest I think the PSU cooling area would annoy me, but I'll see how it looks when I get mine.

I think the PSU sits a short bit of distance from the side panel so unless the fan is going full whack airflow shouldn't be a problem. If anything its another hole for sound to escape out from :/

My wifes going to kill me when this turns up, i can hear the complaining now.

I know it wont fit on the shelf under my desk so its going to have to go on top where i can see it :D which is where the hate is going to come from lol!

I have the same problem with my desk. My gf already knows where it is going though, just moving my printer upstairs and putting it where that was :). She is paying for the case so she can't complain about it too much lol.
