Corsair Carbide Air 540 Builds

I am pretty sure you can fit 2 240 and 360 rads in there if you are ready to loose bottom 2 pci slots on your mobo. And you need to mod it a bit :-)
15 minutes time with a metal saw to cut off those 2 3.5" hdd brackets, that gives you extra 13mm on bottom. Didn't try that, it's still on paper :-)
What else you can do is to remove the ssd cage and put a 160mm rad there instead or cut a hole in right side panel and install a 200mm rad. I checked and both would fit, just not both at once.

Just got mine today but its got to sit in a box until Christmas day :(

I did sit it on my desk and its a bit taller than I thought it would be but it does look quite a bit nicer than I expected I kind of expected to feel a bit cheaper than it does going of reviews ect

Hey guys and gals I need a little help.

I am planning to make a build on water with this case is it possible to 280 rad in the front and top with a push pull fan setup going? or is there not enough room.

Are you not tempted by one of the extreme motherboard bundles for a guaranteed 4.6ghz+ and just sell the ram on.

You could get a 360x45 and a 240x45 in, alphacool nexxos are good, do they do 120's in the fans you have chosen?

Gonna be a nice looking build you have there.

Does not look like I would save anything and I would overclock myself anyway.

Can you link me to the radiators you speak of sorry bud if im asking to much couldnt find them lol.

I've just bought a 540 from off here (used) so will hopefully be building into it this weekend. Is there anything I should know or prepare for? I'm currently running 2x240mm rads a gpu and cpu in a custom loop. Apart from some new tubing for the longer runs to the back of the case will I need anything else?

I'm also thinking of buying some Bitfenix cable extensions just to make sure I have the length and to look a bit better.

The bundle costs more!!! It's about getting a good chip, they are speed binned. You may get lucky who knows. If I were to go has well again that's what I'd go for. It's very dis-heartening to spend £700+ on water cooling alone and it only reach 4.5ghz, plenty fast enough, but not enough for me.

As for rads ocuk don't stock the ones I'd get and I can't link em on here, I had the xspc AX 240,360 in white and are superb and ocuk do stock those, pricey but worth it.
