Corsair Carbide Air 540 Builds

I finally started mine !

I have to say, probably the best case i've ever built into - Very easy to route cables, and plenty of cooling.

The build is not finished yet - Will be getting rid of anything that is not white, or Black and will be changing the AF140 fans, also an NZXT Hue is on the list too but will have to wait a bit for these as they are not essential !

Have to say the moment I was screwing in the motherboard screws that are usually down almost under the PSU in most cases and not having the usual hassle it made up for a lot of the slightly less positives I first experienced heh.

@Nickolp1947 - I have seen your for sale thread :( :( why the change?

Wasn't happy with temps and wanted more rad space, got a lian-li d600 today, very similar, just bigger :D and wanted to change my chip, so i thought why not change the lot!!
Edit: will have another build log up soon, watch this space ;)

Whats the general consensus with regards to multiple radiators in these cases?
I have just picked mine up a few days ago and after building my system i would really like to use a 280 in the top and a 360 in the front.
Is this possible?

Yes, but put your fans on the front, you'll lose the filter though, if you need one, try some tights!! Max 360 thickness probs about 45mm with a 280

cool so lose the filter, fans on the outside, slimline 360 and a nice fat 280!!!!

Nice one cheers mate

I used a 240 xspc AX 40mm with fans so 65mm total, now depending on your mobo's layout/heatsinks with a 280, i'd say a max of 60mm inc fans, if you go back a few pages you will see my rig to give you an idea.

Actually here you go

Definitely need the fans on the outside or some real thought put into the build or cable routing through the front bit will be a nightmare.
