Corsair H50 Water Cooling Kit

I had now setup and completed of my Corsair H50 on my antec 1200 case with two fans of Apache with a push pull and full load of prime95 after 7 minutes looking all good with lower temperature at around 75C for 4Ghz overclocked at the bios setting as 1.26250vcore, 1.84v cpu pll, 1.26250v qpi.

And I use MX2 thermal paste with a cross in the centre of the H50 heatsink plate.

got a sample from corsair in the OcUK tech department

it is performing much better than i expected

72'c max at 4GHz

going to upload full results and comparison review once ocuk get stock :)

I am in processing of testing out Corsair H20 on a proper 4.0Ghz with core speed 4000Mhz, bus speed of 200Mhz, multipiler x20 and QPI link 3600Mhz with triple channel DDR3 memory ram of 12Gb (6 x 2Gb) with a NB frequency 3200Mhz with a timing of 9.9.9.24.1T. And so far, the corsair h50 with a push-pull fan does work out very well. Nearly 1 hour full load on prime95 with the temperature of 78c, 78c, 75c, 75c with a vcore of 1.26250v.

Photo of completed test will be here shortly. :)

Oh, it much lower than mine! about 6 degrees lower. What vcore did you use ? Did you use a push pull fan or just a single fan ? How long it been full load for ?

Here is the completed test photo of 4Ghz is now completed with 78C max temp.

I think I need to re-apply paste and re-seated again because it should be around 72C max temp of what rjkoneill had done his test. Wish I could get it down to 72C but I think 78C is better than any air cooler !

dont forget that ambient temps and case air flow witll affect the cooling, rjkoneil is probably doing it on a test bench. my temps are in a coolermaster cosmos case with the air flow reversed to accomodate the intake config of the cooler. just reverse an intake fan opposite the h50 rad. I got my memory at 1600mhz 8,8,8,24,2t timings at 1.64v, xmp profile on turbo. nice and stable. this is easily the best cooler i've tried, Fenrir, TRUE, and noctua being the others.

I had to work out myself of my case - the antec 1200 case. Maybe I turn off the top exhaust fan ? The test I did with 78C temperature was in my cooling room as room temp is only 20C ! and also three fans at the front case, two fans at the back rear and the top big fan of the case all set to low speed fan enabled.

ok, here is some photos of my setyip, excuse the cabling mess as its not staying in this case only until I get a ATCS840...

Oh your is 76C - much pretty close to mine at 78C.

I think and believe that the corsair H50 can do the job very good at around between 70C to 79C is more than good enough and better than any air coolers with amazing 4Ghz overclock at low vcore voltage.

Still ongoing testing - I leave it on until it crashes overnight or not ? Still 78C since last reading at 20:35 (1 hour and 20 minutes ongoing)

Look forward to seeing a review of this, id like to see how it would compare to my current TRUE. If any better id be tempted to get one.

Just get it mate, it better than TRUE !!!! But, I think Thermalright 120 Extreme is a long time champion of the cpu cooler king but time to move forward and time for a change for H50!

Buy it and you won't regret it, oh yes, the H50 backplate is the same as True backplate, so you don't need to take off the motherboard !

Well so far ive been more than happy with the TRUE, i lapped mine in conjunction with a lapped q6600, chip loaded in p95 at 68-68-62-62 at 3.8ghz, changed to a q9550 (unlapped) load temps of 54-50-46-46, also currently at 3.8ghz, would like to maybe try out the H50 to see what sort of difference it makes.

Here is my 2 hours testing so far, since at 20:35, temperature never went above 78C !!! Still very good ongoing ! I had notice after 20:45 that the temperature had cool it by never went above 74C - running at between 69C and 74C since 20:40 and that's was ongoing for 1 hour and 20 minutes with 74C max !

Now all we need is for ocuk to bundle these H50s with the 4ghz ocuk bundles for even more silence/performance :)

May dare I say a perfect setup would be the obsidian case and a h50 and somehow mod it using a 140mm fan + the Ocuk 4ghz kit ?

I think OCUK will going to bring in H50 with 4Ghz overclocked bundles soon !

Still ongoing for 2 hours and 38 minutes, still same temperature, no rise yet ! Very good indeed even I did playing game, while it still on full load. :) No crash or freeze yet.
