Corsair Hydro H50, 60 or 70...

Hi, I've got 8gb Dominator RAM with heatsinks and not a huge amount of space in my case... Considering therefore that I'm probably not going to be able to fit the Noctua or the SA in my case - would it be best to go for a H60? or are there better low-profile air coolers out there that are quieter and cooler than the H60?

Cheers

Corsair said to send it straight back to them.

I'll wait until the Noctua arrives and once I've fitted that I'll RMA the H60 back to Corsair. That way I won't be left without decent cooling while I wait for their response.
Corsair said the same to me, doesn't mean you don't have the legal right to return it back to where you bought it from (it's faulty).

I didn't want to be without the computer, so I bought the H80 whilst returning the H60. Now have refund on the H60.

My H60 made a horrendous noise, something to do with the water pump and possible air in the system, who knows! I've read a few people with noisey H60s.

If you want quiet, get a big air-cooler, or a proper water cooling system. The H60 & H80 are noiesy buggers when the fans ramp up to cool the radiator.

Thanks r0cky. :) I contacted OCUK and they told me that I could RMA it to them instead. I've ordered another cooler so as soon as that arrives I'll return the H60.

Wish I read this before I got the h80. I have it on the lowest profile settings and it's so loud. Im probably going to take it out and put the stock intel fan back on. Id rather have a little more cpu temp then the drumming this thing is giving my ears.

It sounds like a plane taking off on POST lol.

Hi mate, good choice on the cooler, Corsair do Advanced rma's if you phone them up, that's what I did when i rma'd my psu. They will send you out a new one, once you receive the replacement you send yours back. They put a Hold on your credit card which is removed once they receive your unit back.

@r0cky Is the H80 really loud?
