Corsair K70 keyboard

Just pulled mine out the box and pluged it in. So far i'm really liking it, the keys are abit loud not thats it going to be a problem for me only the person in the next room, lol.

Loving everything about it so for, feels so well built and looks class on the desk.

Would give a 9/10, I would have liked the usb to be on the side instead of round the back.

Agreed. It's a great keyboard. I give it a 8/10 only because corsair should have made this board with all types of switches not just red. Still a well built board and looks stylish.

So, what does the bios switch on the back of the keyboard actually do? There isn't anything about it in the quick start guide and a quick Google search tells me it's for compatibility with some bios's? Why are there 5 settings - 1,2,4,8 and *blank* (BIOS)

Pretty sure it is for the USB polling rate, 1ms, 2ms, 4ms, 8ms.

If your bios doesn't detect the keyboard then you can adjust it until it works.

OcUK in stock, awaiting mine to be dispatched now. Hopefully it'll go out today.

:EDIT: Dispatched, hell yeah.

Keys getting stuck.

Hey guys, I've just received my Corsair K70 in black and I am loving it so far apart from one very annoying thing. The keys 'i', 'p' and a few others get stuck when I push them on the top right corner and it is making my typing experience very bad. I am not sure if it is a defect or if it will be smoother over time.
I have taken the keys out and have swapped them around which has led to the conclusion that the problem isn't with the keys itself but is with the actual board it sits on or the switches themselves. The other keys are fine and are working perfectly.
Is there anyone else who is experiencing this or have experienced it before? I am not sure whether I should get a refund/exchange or notify Corsair about my problem.

On the bright side, apart from the problem I talked about earlier, the keyboard is a delight to type on and I love the sound it makes whilst typing. The build quality is very good and it looks very elegant and clean compared to other gaming keyboards out there.
The red backlight is very nice and clear on its brightest settings, however I wish that the backlighting on the number keys are even as the symbols are directly above the LED's whilst the numbers are offset.

There are no other cons that I can find with this keyboard apart from the small backlight problem (which others may have no problem with) and how some of the keys on the keyboard are getting stuck when I press them.

I hope I can get a reply ASAP on how to deal with the issue I have highlighted above!

I can include pictures of the keyboard if you guys want, but I'm sure you have seen enough pictures of it now!

Post in the Corsair forums. RAM guy will most likely personally RMA you. Its either a matter of using it so that something in there is dislodged or youll need to RMA it either with Corsair or who you bought it from.

Corsair service is nothing but brilliant. Problems with the same product over and over? Upgrade to a more expensive product. Saw countless forums of 1500's being RMAed and loads received 2000's!

Thanks for the advice, I have just posted on the Corsair forums and am waiting for a (hopefully swift) reply.

I will keep this thread updated on it just in-case anyone else has the same problem!

My K70 arrived today, very pleased with it, moving from black switches on the Zibal 60 I can definitely feel the lighter resistance.

Overall build quality is very nice, the brushed finish is very pleasing and the backlighting is a lot brighter than I was expecting but has a nice effect given the way the keys are not indented into the frame.

Very pleased, and it's so nice having dedicated media keys and a volume roller. It's the keyboard Corsair should have released in the first place.

Person above has a few sticky keys. Post in the Corsair forums and ask for Ram guy.
Or just get an RMA, which is what they will tell you anyway.

sharppoo554 and mgsdetail - Sounds like the issue that you guys are having is most likely sticking key which are considered to be faulty hardware. You can post in our forums but I think it'll be faster to submit a ticket regarding this issue at Corsair.Force.com and have RAMGUY approve the ticket right away for a quick replacement OR simply contact your re seller and see if they can do it from their end as I am pretty sure that you guys are still within the return policy.

I went for a tt eSports MEKA and I was quite surprised with how good it was.

It's the really small one though, but it has cherry black keys for every key and the build quality is better than my Logitech G11 (Though that is getting on to be about 5 years old now)

Will sort this out on monday. Thanks for the advice.
