Been using mine for around a week now and here's my impressions...
First of all the build quality is second to none, the overall feel is very much premium (Which you'd expect given it's price). The quality of the plastics are great and the keys have shown no wear in the last week with heavy use - Time will tell if this changes though. The cable braiding and connectors feel great too, overall it's hard to see any corners being cut with quality of materials used. The styling is fantastic but you can tell that from pictures, it looks just as good in the flesh.
My previous keyboard (Qpad Mk-85 with red switches) feels cheaper made and the keys have a less of a clack and more of a click than the K70 (Which to me indicates poorer quality plastic key caps). The feel of the keys when bottoming out is less harsh on the K70 and the overall sound is nicer.
The backlighting is much closer to a 'Blood' red than the MK-85, which was more of an Orangey-Red. Here is where I come to a niggle though, the non-mechanical keys (Media keys, LED mode/brightness and Windows button lock) all light up far dimmer than the mech keys. In fact the backlight on those keys is barely visable in daylight compared to the mech keys.
Another issue I am having is with the F row keys, they are much closer to the number row than most keyboards. So I am finding myself hitting F11/F12 when using backspace for example. It's something I will get used to and am really just nit-picking at things!
Overall love the thing, nothing is perfect but this is pretty damn close.
