** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Come on guys, give Rjkoneill a break. I appreciate it's frustrating for those of us that've ordered H80's (or H100's) but it's obviously just as frustrating for him too. Rjkoneill said when the delay was announced that he had no idea if the delay would be days or weeks and, from past experience, I know he will keep us informed as soon as he hears anything.

Personally, I'd rather be told as soon as information is actually received and available, rather than just have speculation from OcUK which may or may not turn out to be disappointing.

Just my 2 cents guys, and I appreciate other people will feel differently.

I agree 100%

Just stating facts, they don't have a clue what is going on with H100'S. No need to take it personally on someone else's behalf...

I appreciate Rich is the messenger in all of this, but I've asked a couple of questions and they've not been answered so was just trying to get us H80/H100 pre-orderers an update.

Still happy to wait patiently, but I'm sure as anyone with a past pre-order can understand you'd want a rough idea of when to expect things to start moving.

well my H60 just arrived and if it wasn't for the refurbished sticker on the box i would have thought it was brand new.

no leaks and the unit is in perfect conditon visually, will get in tested and installed at the weekend :)

Do you know when the next conversation with Corsair will be held?

They will update me when there are developments.

Did these leave the Factory ?

yes

Where or when will the H100 arrive have they left the factory?

no firm ETA, they have left the factory yes.

They haven't got a clue what is happening with the H100'S. Glad I didn't pre-order now.

everything i have been told is in the thread. as soon as I am getting updates, I am putting them here.

I understand that they have been a long time, but they are being shipped from half way round the world. on a boat. we have things like customs clearance etc to contend with which is causing delays.

When we have containers of Cases shipped from the far east, this is the same sort of lead time. The difference is that many case launches take place when the stock has been in transit for a long time already as this reduces the perceived delay.

I know its frustrating, we are at the mercy of Corsair [or rather their shipping company] on this one.

Well dodged again. ;)

what exactly am I dodging?

someone asked about why we had H60 stock in early and I explained to them what happened - we had leftover EU stock land.

the question I answered was in reply to a customer asking how much free H60 stock we had.

in honesty, i missed your question.

Corsair have been straight up and told us why there are delays. These things occur in international shipping sometimes and there is absolutely nothing that OcUK as a retailer or Corsair as a manufacturer can do about it. I wish there was but its just simple logistics and has been explained further up this post.

Risked a pre-order on the H100.

hardly a risk with a 14 day money back guarantee from OcUK and 90 days of full corsair warranty :)

Random question - if one of these things does fail outside the 90 day guarantee and takes one of our rigs with it, will corsair do the right thing by us?

I'm totes cool with the 90 day guarantee, but if one springs a leak...

(I've ordered a H100, don't tell the wife)

Its 90 day guarantee so why should they. You are getting it cheaper partly due to this so if your scared its going to leak buy new or get a air cooler. End of the day putting water inside a PC always carries some sort of risk.

As long as they turn up before the end of august I will be happy.

Well... a cooler failing (pump, whatever) is one thing. Completely waiving all responsibility for a product which causes a grand's worth of damage is quite another. I know in the US I've seen cases where Corsair were decent enough to replace a rig which was killed by a faulty unit, I was just wondering if the shorter guarantee removed that security.

An example of a leaky H100 wreckin a rig and it getting resolved:

So, my question stands - if it leaks and wrecks my system, does the 90 day warranty invalidate the normally excellent long term Corsair standards re: restitution for damaged goods?

I am pretty sure that it was said somewhere in this thread that the 90 day guarantee has the same cover as the normal 3 year one, only for 90 days obviously. And to be fair corsair have the best customer service i have ever seen.

Is there much performance difference between h80 and h100?

I was planning to get either of these for a prodigy build and if they perform the same i will just get the h80 so i wont lose the option to use the 5.25 bay.

Another place is report these will be in stock between 13 August - 30 August does this sound about right?
