Cosmic will likely overtake KDE but it's not there yet, maybe in 1-2 years. My issues were Chrome doesn't go into dark mode, windows snapping not really working yet, need to change mouse settings in config files as many thing missing in the settings, various other issues.

I will be checking out future updates though.

What doesn't work about windows snapping? I've never had any issues doing win+shift+arrows

I don't think cosmic will replace kde, more like it's a viable replacement for gnome.

I tried to use basic window snapping with each other didn't work sometimes. I don't use keyboard shortcuts to size windows or tiling mode, I should be able to drag corners or sides and it work, but when it does and when Chrome dark mode works I'll likely try it as main DE.

I don't use tiling mode. Dragging to 4 corners 4 halves and whole worked when I tried it just now. I'll try and drag instead of shortcuts for a while to see if it I can get it to fail.
