FreeTube for Windows, macOS or Linux. It's completely open source, and totally private. No tracking, no account, no analytics. It still connects to YouTube on the backend, so it's as fast as the real thing. There is an option to connect via Invidious backend if you prefer.
You can subscribe to channels, and set it up how you want (theme, remove elements like chat/comments/recommended videos) and best of all, it doesn't show any YouTube ads (or any ads at all). All data (watch history, subscriptions etc) is kept locally on your device and not sent to Google (or anyone else). If you watch via VPN Google has no idea who you are. Awesome software.
