im not sure why i didnt think of this before but im only realising that i could have bought a 2nd hand car of my own with the amount of money that i spent on my pc the last few days. i already have free access to a car when i require it so thats maybe why i didnt think twice.

ive spent a total of £1100+ on the following items in less than 7 days!

Q6600
Tuniq Tower 120
2GB Geil 6400 ULL
BFG 8800GTX OC2
OCZ 780w ModXstream PSU
Dell 2407 WFP

soon to buy vista prem 64 bit

have i too much money or just lacking in brain cells.

has anyone else done this before and then realised afterwards
 
I did that just before christmas. Was saving for a car, but thought sod it, dont need one. Bought the PC in sig. Then bought a car in july. Spend twice as much on my pc than i did my car :D
 
When I bought my Breitling I got hit with the same realisation, £2k+ for a watch when I needed a car... However, when the watch had to be returned and I was refunded I went and bought Macpro instead... :confused:

I recently nearly did the same again, i was going to buy a Canon 1dmkIII, but, this time i came to my senses early enough to put a stop to it and instead I bought a car. :) That said, ive not even passed my test yet and ive placed an order for a watch (Panerai Luminor)... I know the money would be better spent of more lessons or a crash course.

I'm looking for <£1k cars at the mo for gf's first car and I'm having a complete mission of a time finding one (mk4 fiesta kinda car).

Rovers :D just look past the badge and they are decent cars :p paid 250 quid for my 214 had 4 months tax and 4 months mot, and paid 312 quid more recently for my 623 with 8 months mot and 3 months tax
 
I sold my Impreza a month or so back and started to miss the fast car scene and nearly jumped back in the game buy buying something cheap but with grunt.
Namely a BMW 540i, however I came to my senses and realised why I sold the Impreza...
To save up for the R34 GTR......
gritting my teeth now hiding below the steering wheel in a 106 diesel until I can afford one. :D
Put £20 quid in it a few weeks ago and did 360 something miles on that, worked out at 70.5 MPG anyway...

Must keep telling myself... it'll be worth it in the long run...

Although I've just left the bolton modelmart website having spent over £50 repairing my Hyper ST after killing it today. :(

If you're getting Vista64, then why not go for the 4GB of RAM? After all, it's far easier to stroke the old e-peen with 4GB than 2 you know!
