The steam can't escape in a poly box so the chips get soggy.

well next time you make a decent hot fiery chilli and you have some leftover. Next day buy some chips. Works better with extremely crunch French fries. But English chips will do. Poor on hot chilli, bit of cheese under the grill just to melt and dig in.
Never let it be said I don't try stuff. Next time I make chilli, I'll do just that and report back![]()
