cousin in law screams 'paedo' at poor bloke :(

Thats pretty poor (if true).

I'd have hoped that interviewing by the Police and lack of further action would've been enough to make herself realise that she overstepped the mark?

Also the daughter is only agreeing with her family through peer-pressure, regardless of her own feelings/understanding, I'm sure the police saw that.

Id go apologise on their behalf to the manager at the shop if it was me.

and i would NEVER

be going round there house again, even if it was my direct family.

The mother inparticular sounds like a scraped-back haired, Argos gold hoop earringed, chain-smokin' *****. No offence.

Excellent bit of stereotyping there, could be exactly the opposite.
Paedo mania has infiltrated every part of the country with the only difference being that cleverer people may know what a paediatrician is.

I can believe that this has happened somewhere if not in the OPs story.

About 2 years ago I thought I was going to be screamed at.
I was in Hanley Shopping Centre and a little boy walked past me but thought he may be following his mother.
About 15 seconds later I was outside Next when 2 women started shouting a boys name so I paused, turned round and said 'Is he about that big with a red jacket?' and the older women started shouting 'WTF has it got to do with you?' and I was waiting for some paedo comment.
The other women said 'he has got a red jacket, where is he?' and I said 'About 30 seconds that way'.
I then turned to the other woman and said 'Say thank you or **** ***'.

I don't know how many of you saw an Esther Rantzen program a few years ago but it shows what a state we've got in.
She setup a young child in a Shopping Centre crying for their Mum and at least 1000 people walked past until somebody helped.
She publically apologised for her part in creating the paedo panic we see now through her programs decades ago to do with Childline.

I like your story better :P

What was the reply from the woman you told to 'Say thank you or **** ***'.???

IF op story is true. Poor guard :( and Slander tbh

People who throw around the paedo claim willy nilly do not fully understand the serious effect it can have on someone's life, if this is true then I feel very sorry for the Guard, if it's not then shame on you britboy.

Your wife's family sound like knuckle draggers. The story depressed me.

Some people are retarded. I suggest cutting contact with them as much as possible with nuking them from orbit as the best case scenario.

Quite sickening what this country is like these days.

Not based oon her accusations of paedophilia, it's based upon her handling of the situation. Could have been about anything, she still sounds like an idiot.

If it was me on the receiving end of the p word in public like that I would have called the police straight away because it is just not something you can prove either way in a situation like that. It will only go one way for you if you try to defend yourself on your own, badly!

It really is a sad state of affairs. The guy went above and beyond what any member of the public would have probably done and made sure she was OK. If that was my child I would be taking him a token of my appreciation. Sadly he's probably having to lay low or move where he works, maybe at some cost to him or maybe he's been suspended from work completely. Being a security guard is hardly a thrilling job and could be a bit soul destroying stood around with nothing going on. Helping that girl probably made his day, poor guy.

the poor bugger is probably off with stress now, the woman who did that sounds like a totally horrible vile person and people like her really annoy me!

if the police interviewed both parties and did nothing then nothing happened that was any cause for concern...trust me! i'm suprised that old woman who attacked those armed robbers at the jewellers hasn't been locked up for assault (sorry going off track)

Are they a little bit stupid these people?

More stupid than being surprised that an old woman hasn't been locked up for using reasonable force against armed robbers while they were doing the robbery?

After years of that he doesn't believe interesting things actually happen to people who go and make interesting things happen to them! :) Just like me mum not believing I did 122mph on my motorbike up the M4 because she's never done more than 70 she didn't think it was feasible - I had to be lying :) , when actually it was easy!

You are on a public forum and you just admitted to breaking the law, not clever.

I remember hearing an MP on the radio a few years back saying he pulled a face at a child opposite him on the tube. The mother then immediately branded him a paedo, shouted in his face etc. Sad times....

Sounds like your in-laws believe all the hype. I performed CPR on a girl of 13 after dragging her from a house fire last week, does that make me a peado? Well, maybe in the eyes of your in-laws it does. The girl and her family see me as a life saver, I see myself as just doing my job of fighting fires, saving lives and protecting property.

paedo

*snip* She got home and told her mum how nice the guard was. Her mum immediately stormed down the the shopping place (kid dragged along with her by the hand, my wife following because she didn't know what else to do) *snip*

*snip* The manager came along but didn't know what was going on so just kept out of it (some weak women who just seemed flustered)!!!! The really sad thing is that 2 complete strangers walking past, looked like builders, went up and 'body checked' the guard and then got right in his face (like one of their noses 2 cm from the security guys nose) saying 'you a peado mate? you want me to smash your face in mate' etc. pretty nasty and shocked my missus who still didn't know what to do (!!). *snip*

So let me get this right. The manager is just "one of those weak women" becuase she just looked flustered yet your missus followed her sister all the way down there and let her mouth off without a word?

Personally I think it's more sad that people arn't willing to stand and bang, there have always been crazies but it seems like people just keep there heads down looking at the floor. Last time I was in London I had to brush past around 10 people who just ignored the plight of a young girl who was being harrassed by a spycho who I RNC'd. Although it was only after was I reminded by the girl herself that the youth if London like to carry knives.
