COVID-19 (Coronavirus) discussion

I only have one other friend that I know of who has managed to beat me in the "last to get it" race. Everyone else I know has had it by now.

He was sat next to me in a car for over an hour on the day before my symptoms showed up, while I was probably highly contagious, and somehow he still didn't catch it. Lucky guy!
My wife got it and it took over 10 days of constant for me to finally pick it up off her

Well i've gone and finally got it. Fell rough as hell, sore throat/temperature/coughing (hurts like crazy). Had booster in Dec.

If Boris had not ****ed it by keeping covid out and not letting it rip there would have been more NHS capacity available for cancer patients

The NHS has been struggling with staffing for years. Way before the pandemic anyway. We all clapped for carers etc but they've been needing more than some crappy gesture for ages.

Trying to make the point to the let it rip idiots who cannot do basic maths

If your hospital is full of covid patients there is less capacity for other stuff

Not much point doing written.

Shame, as the doctors themselves are generally decent.

That's where you're wrong, when written they have 30 days to respond with a Letter of Response.
Even if the letter is full of crap they've had to waste time doing an MDT and the Practice Manager will advise the staff member to stop saying stuff to waste their time.

Did anyone ever get seriously wet diarrhea following spikevax booster? Asking for a friend.

Just realised my Vax was weds 1st so must just be norovirus surely? But man oh man am I sick rn
