No one in my household has had it, symptomatically at least, yet. Probably 70-80% at work have had it one or more times now.

Same. Everyone around me had it. Sneezed all over me. Drove then around in cars. Never got symptoms or tested positive. Only had one jab ~12 months prior. Hoax confirmed

... I was too hopeful. I'm on day 4/5 right now and moved onto Codeine for the throat pain, like nothing i've experienced before and I used to get tonsillitis pretty bad as a kid.

My resting heartrate is around 120-130 which is bizzare. New symptom today is a constant running nose and mega phlegm. I'm assuming its my body trying to get rid of all the crap in me, i'm basing that on absolutely nothing.

Yeah a sore throat kicked in for me on day 4. It was only really bad (tonsillitis levels) for around half a day though before fading to a mild annoyance.

My heart rate and nose were fine.

Hospitalisations bottomed out last week and started to tick up again this week, third wave of Omicron incoming? Not sure if its the current strain from the US or Europe as seems to be two going around, expect John Campbell will have an update soon on it.

Steeply dropping out here hospitalisations wise and no one I know currently has it - will be keeping an eye if it starts to go up again. Lately it seems to go in bursts and for some reasons seems to be mostly the same people each time.

I really wish people like you could spend a day with me in a hospital dealing with some of the **** I deal with.
eg Today I had to assign a Solicitor to go to a Ward to witness the Will of a patient unexpectingly dying from Covid and quickly need it changing.
This happens at least once a month.
People like you make me sick.

I hope you feel better soon. Having stuff coming out from both ends is one of those truly miserable experiences.

It escalated quite badly . What a miserable few days. I feel so awful for people who don't have their health.

So Moderna has given an update on its bivalent vaccines: 8-fold increase in Omicron specific antibodies. Very promising results, and they hope that this should only require one booster a year for protection; applying for approval already with hopes to have it in the Autumn booster campaign.
