Meaningless waffle.
Nameless cardboard dev speaks out via 3rd party, I'll take that as irrefutable evidence of fairplay.

Well the thread was getting quite heated, so I tried to diffuse it.
It would be cool if TressFX was added but hopefully it would be an option for NVidia users to use, unlike 50% of the other TressFX games.
Yes but why have they done 64x and not just 16 or even 8x, for the screenshots posted so far, there is virtually no difference between 64 and 8/16, I am sure that they are not only just reducing FPS for AMD cards but also for nvidia cards as well. I would love to see how many more fps nvidia cards would get if they could set tess. to 16/8
Apparently it does. Someone here confirmed that PhysX works nicely for them with AMD and B:AO
Ermmm, I don't recall saying GPU PhysX, I said PhysX but I will leave it, as I am not up for a tit-for-tat argument![]()
As gpu PhysX doesn't work on AMD, is everything enabled on AMD BAO?
Apparently it does. Someone here confirmed that PhysX works nicely for them with AMD and B:AO
Gameworks it not just hairworks there lots other things like PCSS and TXAA
You obviously didn't read my last post. Here is a link http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=28099656&postcount=755
but why is Hairworks controversial and not TressFX? Why no/less **** storm over vendor locked features like HD3D/Mantel/3D Vision/sli/xfire etc. No wait its only Nvidia features that are bad and AMD can do no wronge.
If you don't like hairworks, don't use it its never required or forced, if you want TressFX talk to AMD and to a lesser extent a game developer.
Nvidia are calling ti a GameWorks title:

Also, Rockstar DO consider it a Gaming Evlolved title, if you look at the bottom of this page:
http://www.rockstargames.com/V/info/pc/specs
EDIT: Just realised this was the same Nvidia link posted above.
I would like to know why every gameworks title has micro-stutters on my pc regardless of the gameworks features being disabled, is it just me or do other AMD GPU users have this issue?
GTA 5 and any other recent non-gameworks title all run very smoothly.
but GTAV does use gameworks

Runs well on both vendors as far as I am aware?
Matt said GTA V wasn't a Gaming Evolved game, but there's a Gaming Evolved logo on the game's website. So is it or isn't it?
It is a gpu agnostic title, it isn't exclusive to any one vendor, it is simply using techs from both camps without favouring either.
GameWorks/GE exclusive titles are vendor funded, GTAV isn't either.
If that doesn't make it any clearer for you, pm him./

Anyway on a lighter note,I saw this picture on another forum and thought it would lighten the mode in the thread!
