CPU cooler recommendations

does this one screw on?
i think it has push pins see arctic cooling website for more info
Yep, sure does has push pins and they are a hassle, though still a very good cooler, had mine for over a year and no problems thus far.
Holy cows guys it's getting like the blind leading the blind round here! :p

Mouthy stop letting other people do your thinking for you, the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 cooler has it's own much improved mounting system unlike the the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 1 cooler that teejay73 is talking about! :D

I am recommending the Thermolab Baram, that will make light work of your overclocked quad core!

thanks guys, im now torn between the Titan Fenrir and the Thermolab Barum, what are these like in comparison to fit?

are they easy to fit. anyone got any pics?
thanks

also does anyone know if there is a discount code for OCUK, I would like to order it from them especially since it was on their forums that it was recommended to me, however postage is about £9 for just the heatsink

The Baram is pretty easy to fit, it does involve fitting a backplate which puts some people off but once thats fitted you can pop the heatsink on and off with ease just be tightening four thumb screws . . . The backplate is universal so that needs a few minutes work attaching the screws in the right place (according to socket).

Not sure what you mean by Discount Code but loyal forum members get free shipping if they made enough posts and been a member long enough . . .

i did see that, thanks

i think i will go for the titan fenrir, just need to find where to get it now for the best price. OCUK does have it on offer although i have still found it for the same price elsewhere

dont think im entitled to the forum discount for free shipping yet, not sure
would be nice as postage is pretty expensive

Is there not a screw set you can buy for your coolermaster? I Hate the pushpins also, haven't never used them before I messed around with it for an hour trying to fit it properly untill i bought the mounting bracket which only took a few minutes to fit.

I have the Corsair H50 that I'm very happy with I dont know what there like with Quad Q6600 but my i7 920 with prime95 on maxes at 70c
