Crackdown

Just got rid of the first gang. Collected around 120 Green Orbs. Nearly got to the top of the tower mind you. Just could get up on the tallest tower :(
 
How do you get your explosives skill up? I take it you can't use grenades?

Now trying to find the last boss in the first gang before going after the kingpin. Take it i just have to wander round till i find him?

Must try and do driving skills as well as only on 25 :( i must be blind as haven't seen any ramp trucks yet
 
Blow people up. Kill a Russian and steal his grenade launcher, take that back to the supply depot so you can get it when you want. Then just use that. it is probably the most acurate weapon in the game.
I think killing them by shooting barrels gets it up too.

Also i have just found out Hidden orbs will increase all your stats. Didn't know that lol
 
I didn't see any ramp trucks til a bit later in the game, then there were loads about. Get your driving skill up by running over bad guys. Get your explosives skill up by killing bad guys with explosives (grenades, rockets etc)
 
Im halfway through the Volk right now (taking my time, 4* everything except agility). I've got the regular rocket launcher and grenade launcher - when does the heat-seeking variety become available?

when you fight the next gang but you could always go off now and kill one then bring the rocket launcher back to kill the volk, also get their sniper rifle, its very accurate.

I'm 4* on everything except firearms at the moment, when I started playing I found it easier to run up to people and beat them up.

Sorry just needed to vent my angry at that last bloody agility orb. I will find the ****** if it's the last thing I do.

i agree mate. when i finished the gang missions there were loads of groups of dudes either stood there or shooting civilians from the roof tops. i used the grenade launcher on them and was taking down 5 or 6 at a time, regardless of range, depending on how tightly thye were bunched together. i went from 2.5 stars to 4 in around an hour by travelling between all the supply points and taking out the mobs that spawned close by.

i think the launcher does more damage over a larger area than any of the rocker launchers. i can rocket launch a car below me with another close by and it will take out the car but not damage any civilians too much, however the grenade launcher seems to take everything out! the good thing is though you kill so many bad guys so quickly you don't notice the civilians dying :D

I know the pain, the one i found was on its own with no noticeable others i could see - if u like ill show you where a bit later :)
