Crackdown

Just got this game today, plays pretty awesome, really happy with it. One thing i really like is you dont have to get respect etc to play thru it.. One thing which annoyed me about Saints Row. One thing i struggle with is the aiming though.. But slowly getting used to it. And collecting Orbs is adictive!

i find myself nudging the left stick so end up sending 80 rounds into some dudes left arm instead of into his torso with an awfull hit rate lol
 
it tends to target the dead guys for a bit too long, and doesn't switch often enough. however it's proper good for launching grenades (once i'd figured it out) :D
 
Right, I have finally given Crackdown a full go with my undivided attention, not skipping videos and actually using the map. Oh my god...it is awesome.

I spent about 15 minutes on one of the bridges just causing havoc, i love how you can shoot the tires and watch the cars flip down the road then off the bridge etc.

So awesome, great fun.
 
Just bought this as well and had a quick play on it last night. Seems like a fun game once i got used to the controls.

A few questions though, how do i increse my driving skill easily? Been driving around everywhere but doesn't seem to have moved :confused:
 
Running down gang members, Doing jumps (you will see purple circles in the air, with a ramp leading to them) and doing the street races iirc.

Yep.

I personally found the easiest method to increase the Driving skill quickly was to stunt the Agency SUV off of one of those ramp trucks. Park it near the Los Muertos Agency Tunnel exit, and do the various rolls etc until your skill increases. It even gets easier as you increase your skill thanks to the extra airtime control you get from the leveled SUV.
 
Does anyone else have problems connecting to coop?

My NAT settings re open but it just constantly says "Connecting, waiting for other player". I left it for about 5 minutes then got bored.

How do I fix this?

You both have the same downloaded items? I had problems connecting to squinoogle the other night but can easily invite or join another guy on my friends list.

Also driving wise, I got to two star by just picking up the hidden orbs (not agility ones) now I need to start doing the stunts, races and mowing down bad people!
I have 4 * on everything else but need to max them all out to be able to get the achivement.
