Cramp omg

I get cramp now again in my legs usually my calf muscles in bed, i just straighten the affected leg out and make sure toes are pointed straight up as someone has already mentioned in the thread earlier. It isn't that painful to be honest more annoying really.

Ahah, yeah, i have had it in my leg before while sleeping, got up to try walk it off and fell to the floor lol, just rolled there for a little while until it went away.
I have also had the jaw one after yawning in the middle of a lesson, not fun.

I sometimes get complete muscle lock in both legs, started when I was about 15 and seems to happen at random.
Sometimes it starts in one calf, that then triggers off muscles in my thigh, finally the other leg does the same, and can last for several minutes :(

I think it is called "Charlie horse", sounds silly, but it is the worst physical pain I have ever experienced to date.

Scort.

My 7 year old son wakes up screaming with cramp in the middle of the night every couple of weeks, and has done since he was about 2:(

these random cramps can also sometimes be associated with "growing pains". i use to get em couple of years ago. would have me in tears of pain, only problem was i was more like to be laughing to my parents thought i was just being a tard when i was actually being a tard in pain :D

Calf cramps are definitely the worst.

I got to disagree, Joint cramps are defo the worse, there is no way you can walk it off.
I remember coming back from the ice stadium one sunday and a big group of us were sat at the back of the bus when i jumped up all of a sudden in total pain. I thought I wouldnt walk off the bus...defo the worse type of cramp by far

wow, i always thought i was the only one that'd wake up at nights with cramps in BOTH legs! i think it happened mostly when i had been out for football or something and hadnt exercised enough before it. anyway, hardly happens now but a few years ago it was quite common.. so painful yet somehow it can be missed.
