Crashed Helicopter registered to Colin McRae

This is awful news. One of our finest rally drivers :(

This along with the WWII crash at a West Sussex airshow this weekend resulting in another air death is very tragic!

RIP

Shocking!

The talent of this man was beyond comparison in the modern era. Will be sadly missed.

OMG - Jesus :(

He was a real mans man - thought goes to his family - he made me watch WRC...

Two of our brightest stars in Rally died in the last few years :(...

ps3ud0

just got in now, saw something about a crash on the screens behind the bar. shocked to hear whats happened. gutted. loss of another of the sports greatest :(

Just seen this on BBC, Four people have been killed in a helicopter crash near the Lanarkshire home of former World Rally Champion Colin McRae..

Lanark is like 15 mins from me, this guy is a legend all over here (and as you people post, all over the UK). Would be a big shame to lose this guy, a massive talent :(.

My dads friend and Colin used to fix cars together many years ago.

i feel sorry for his family, losiing him and esp his son, how upsetting that must be is beyound me. :(

the helicopers in question, must be invesigated aswell, they look very unreliable.

Just in to hear this shocking news - I am totally gutted. Being a rally mad Irishman its totally devasting to hear of another rally death in helicopter crashes. Still great memories of the late Bertie Fisher lighting up the irish roads. I had the privilege of seeing colin on the famous knockalla stage at last years donegal rally. Definitely got the biggest cheer of the day. A very very dark day for motorsport. RIP you legend.

Im sad.. :( Cant imagine how the family feels.

But all i can remember of Colin McRae right now is that flip he did at the X-Games, and before it even came to rest he was off and still won silver i believe. Fantastic skill.
