** CRAZY ADATA SSD DEAL!! ** - PRE-ORDER NOW!!

Stock should be arriving monday for delivery on tuesday/wednesday (depending on what time the stock lands with us on monday). All back ords will be honoured so everyone who has commited will get a drive on the the incoming stocks :)

I just ordered the Adata SF11 thingy the £140 one. I had £15 back from giffgaff so it only cost me £125.

I'm going to mirror my current SSD and use the Adata drive as my Os drive and my old Vertex 2E will become my gaming drive, so bf3, star wars, world of tanks.

Well a bit of a debacle all round, though partly my fault. Turns out my mobo is the GA-*E*X58-UD3R not the GA-X58A-UD3R which is what I had thought it was) and therefore no SATA III. Then my internet was rubbish so it took all evening to dl acronis. When I finally got it up and running late last night it told me (quite expectedly) that it couldn't clone my HDD because it was too full, but when I tried to exclude certain folders from the clone (pics, music etc.) it froze up and became unresponsive.

I will have to reserve judgement until after Christmas when I'll try reinstalling windows from scratch directly onto the ssd

These were custompc/bit-tech recomended for a few months taking over the Vertex 3 as they perfom very similar but are much cheaper. its only recently that this has since been replaced with the Samsung 830 as their drive of choice although I would personally buy ADATA in this case due to the masses of value they offer over the competition.

The pre-order prices weren't bad on these, but now that has ended I have to ask if the S510 is worth the extra £7 over the Corsair Force 3?
I know you get Acronis too, which is nice, but how does AData's warranty and customer service compare to Corsair's?

Its a good warranty service from my own personal experience however every rma is treated differently and variables can mean an rma will be poor no matter who the company is that your dealing with.
