~~~CRAZY GADGET SHOW DEALS - AVAILABLE IN STORE & AT OUR STAND - UK's LOWEST PRICES!~~~
Some of the deals are reasonable (not crazy though) but the GTX680 isn't a deal at all.
It is exactly the same price, and even the same model as the TWO deal. It isn't even a good price compared to the still in stock OCUK model let alone competitor pricing.
A Crazy deal would have been a GTX680 for £399 or £409, not the standard RRP....
Aren't the Samsung 3D monitors just the same price as if you'd bought one from the double or triple packs?
Is the 3D on these any good or is it the same rubbish effects we get in the cinema?
All the 3D I've seen there seem to be more like a layered picture than a 3D one (maybe it's just me).
Also, it's only 1920*1080. Would seem like a downgrade from my Samsung 1920*1200. Also following that monitor I'm not sure I'd buy another Samsung, the power button seems to be 'temperamental'. Can they not do 3D @ 1920*1200?
Also I feel for me 120Hz monitors would be a slippery slope. What sort of graphics card setup would I need in order to play Metro 2033 (and the like) at a solid 120fps at a resolution of 5760*1080?
Would also have been interested in the GameCom 380's about a week ago before I bought some Corsair HS1As (why don't OcUK stock these any more?). Mind you the reason I was changing from my GameCom 377s in the first place was the CRAZY short cable they had. Don't expect the 380s to be any better really.
Figured I might as well order a 6850. Didn't bother the last time the price was down this low, but am tired of waiting for the 7850s to move down in price and for Nvidia to bring in a competing product.
Limited to what cards I can get away with due to the small case, the lower the TDP the better!
Boogie Bug AimB.Pad XL Gaming Mouse Surface @ £9.98 inc VAT
Logitech G500 5700DPI Gaming Mouse (910-001262) @ £32.99 inc VAT
I assume the G500 is the same but I just purchased the following:
Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse and FREE Boogie Bug AimB.Pad XL Gaming Mouse Surface [bundle1111] @ £25.98 inc VAT
It's £16.99 less for the same goods? :confused: Anyway, I hope I picked up a bargain.
EDIT: Oh yeah, the main confusion for me was that the bundle is less than the mouse by itself.
Nothing new from Samsung, have a search around, our competitors are all £50 - £100 more than us, then when you factor in were part of the Samsung VAT back programme too, were cheaper than a competitors by a considerable margin. Samsung just love OcuK! :D
:) Any reductions on the Samsung 830 SSD prices then? appear to be cheaper at competitors - especially the 256GB :rolleyes:
