Do mousemats make any difference when playing games like CoD? surely a laminated surface would suffice?

Most good quality mice can be used on laminated surfaces, I decided to get a mousemat as I feel my G500 is catching a bit on my desk and it should give a smoother experience when using the mouse. A mousemat, in my opinion, has no difference in how good you play a game though.

I don't think OcUK price match as a general rule but if you give them a call they may be willing to help.

My mouse actually works better directly onto my desk than on a mouse mat. It also has the advantage that you don't run out of mouse mat before you run out of desk.

This is on a smooth wooden desk from Ikea and a Roccat Kone, so your experience may be different.

As far as the monitors go...I am tempted to get 3 of those none 3D 24s.

What's the colour reproduction like? I currently have a dell 2707 but want to go triple monitor...maybe. But doing that on dell monitors is silly money.

Ordered the Boogie Bug AimB.Pad XL Gaming Mouse Surface [BOOGIEXL]. I hope they are as good as people make out.
